Exuberant paradise, You have to experience it!
In the south of the state of Oaxaca, along of a 35 kilometers coastal strip, the nine bays of Huatulco display their beauty: Cacaluta, Chachacual, Chahué, Conejos, Órgano, Maguey, San Agustín, Santa Cruz and Tangolunda, forming a paradise of 36 beautiful soft sand beaches, whose whiteness, beautifully frames the sky blue and emerald tones of its waters, warm and transparent like the coastal people themselves. On these beaches, you can do nature tourism activities, such as diving, recreational fishing, kayaking and horseback riding, as well as some other recreational activities no less exciting, which find an ideal setting here.
Even though the beaches have given this region worldwide fame, there are also spectacular sites such as the “Piedra de Moros” and the Copalita River, ideal for adventure tourism activities such as hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing and river rafting.
In the municipality of Santa María Huatulco is the National Park Huatulco, with more than 11 thousand hectares, one of the best-preserved areas in the region, which houses a great wealth of animals and plants, both on land and in the sea.

- OAXACA - PUERTO ESCONDIDO (BARRANCA LARGA - VENTANILLA) HIGHWAY

According to the current toll list of Federal Roads and Bridges of Mexico (CAPUFE), the Barranca Larga - Ventanilla highway, which will take you directly to the tropical paradise of the Oaxaca coast, has two toll booths, and each one costs $234 pesos, adding up to a total of $468 pesos per trip, meaning you should consider this same amount for your return to Oaxaca City.
This road is 104 kilometres long, has two lanes and shoulders, two toll booths, 15 junctions and accesses, 10 bridges, three viaducts and three tunnels.
- FEDERAL HIGHWAY OAXACA - ISTMO - HUATULCO
