It is very busy during the holiday season, even during non-holiday seasons this bay is still very visited due to the dock for the arrival of cruise ships that it has. With a length of 300 meters this dock can accommodate up to 3 cruise ships at a time. Santa Cruz beach is very easy to access since it belongs to one of the best located bays in Oaxaca, starting from the center of La Crucecita, you can take a taxi from the Santa Cruz site, which circulate at all hours through the streets of the town, they are the only orange taxis so identifying them will be very easy.
Once inside the taxi, just wait for the driver to take you to your destination while you observe the beautiful gardens that this paradisiacal place preserves, as well as the beautiful hotels and restaurants that you will be able to see during the short time. Among the activities to do are:
- Jet ski rental: once you have purchased the rental of the watercraft, with the same people who rented it like you, the racing car style competitions are organized and, in this way, you can have a pleasant time or if you decide to spend it alone performing your stunts.
- Riding the banana: Riding the banana is a guarantee of fun. For extreme sports lovers, this is an activity that they enjoy, as they are given a ride at high speed in which the driver is in charge of throwing them so that the people on board live that adrenaline experience. All this with the required safety, wearing the necessary equipment so that they do not drown.
- The paro tour: this sport is practiced on a large surfboard on which you must stand or sit, using a paddle to steer your board.
- Playing beach volleyball: If you bring your own net or rent one on the beach, you just must hang it up and set up your teams, in pairs or threes depending on how many people are available.
- Playing soccer: You can also bring your own soccer ball or rent or buy one at the beach stands and have a fun time with your family and friends.
- Snorkeling: This activity is in high demand by vacationers due to the great satisfaction they get from living in the water with species they may not know.
- Sport Fishing: If you want to hang out and fish in the offshore waters, you can do so as well. Life jackets and goggles can be rented separately. Sandcastle toys are sold on the beach.
