It is experiencing religious fervor with the parades of children carrying the very Mexican poinsettia flower dressed as Juan Diego and "inditas", who make their pilgrimage through the streets of the Historic Center to reach the Temple of the Virgin of Guadalupe.

Our traditional Night of Radishes is celebrated every December 23, where Oaxacan gardeners display their art transformed into figures of radishes, immortal flowers and totomoxtle leaves before the amazement of visitors; the calendas with their giants, lanterns, marmots and allegorical cars that shine in a thousand shapes and colors.
